How CrawlSpaceFinder Makes Money

The large majority of listings were compiled from public business data — primarily Google Business Profiles — without any involvement from the business itself. No business paid to appear, and no business was asked for permission, because the underlying information is already public. Most listing descriptions were drafted with AI tools from that public data and the business's own published information.

Business owners can also submit or correct their own listing at no cost. A free listing is identical in every respect to a compiled one.

Nothing. There is no paid product on this site today, for contractors or for homeowners. Getting listed, correcting a listing and having one removed are all free, as they always have been.

Between July and September 2026 we offered one paid product, Featured placement at $49 per month. It was withdrawn in September 2026 and nobody ever bought it — not one contractor was charged. We took it down because this directory is still building its search traffic, and we are not willing to charge for visibility we cannot yet evidence.

A small number of listings still show a Featured label, which places them in a separate section above the rest of their state page. Those placements were granted at no charge while the product was being tested. They were not paid for, and they are labelled so you can see exactly which listings they are.

If a paid product ever returns, this page will describe it before it goes on sale. The Get Listed page carries the free listing details in the meantime.

• Not verification. CrawlSpaceFinder does not check licensing, insurance, bonding, certifications, awards, or warranty terms for any listing, paid or unpaid. Use the hiring checklist to check those yourself before you hire.
• Not an endorsement. A Featured label means the business was given a position above the others. It is not a recommendation and carries no opinion about quality of work.
• Not a better rating.Star ratings and review counts are Google's, shown as-is. They are never edited, weighted, or withheld based on payment.
• Not removal of competitors. No payment, past or future, suppresses, downranks, or delists any other business.
• Not guaranteed leads. No traffic, call volume, or number of quote requests is promised with any listing.

Within each section, listings are sorted by Google rating. The only thing that moves a listing between sections is a Featured placement, which is visually labelled wherever it appears and which cannot currently be bought. There is no hidden ranking factor and no pay-to-rank anywhere in the directory.

CrawlSpaceFinder does not currently use any affiliate or referral links. Links to contractor websites are plain, untagged links that earn us nothing. If that ever changes, this page will say so before the links go live, and affected links will be labelled.

When you submit a quote request, the details go to CrawlSpaceFinder and may be shared with crawl space contractors in your area, as stated in the consent text on the form. We are not paid per lead, and quote requests are not sold to a lead broker.

We separately record a non-identifying summary of each request to count and audit volume: the contractor and state it concerns, the service type, the page it was sent from, any campaign tags, the referring site's domain, the consent record, whether it reached our inbox, and a timestamp. That record contains no name, email, phone number, or message. See the Privacy Policy for full detail.
